Designed at the Tres Design Group for Altec Lansing. The 751 Computer Speaker Series was to be released as an entry-priced computer speaker system for the teen-age market. At the time, a lot of the computer speakers were pretty much black straight-forward shapes. Considering the market, we wanted to try out new forms, materials and colors to provide an alternative. Unfortunately, despite positive feedback, the project was killed. In any case, here are a couple of the concepts we presented.
